Copy-Paste Review Scripts

Three proven scripts to systematically generate 5-star reviews. Click the copy button to use them immediately.

Script 1: CSR Booking Call

Plant the seed early. Set the expectation that 5-star service is the standard.

"Mrs. Jones, I'm so glad we could get that scheduled for you. Just so you know, our technician Mike is aiming for a 5-star review today. If anything isn't perfect, please let him know immediately so he can fix it right there."

When to use: During the booking call, after confirming the appointment time. This primes the customer to expect excellent service and prepares them for the review request.

Script 2: Technician On-Site

Close the loop. Ask for confirmation of satisfaction, then make the review request personal.

"Did I earn a 5-star review today? Great. I'm going to send you a link right now. It really helps me out personally if you could click that and mention my name."

When to use: Immediately after completing the job, while still on-site. The key is to send the review link via text RIGHT THEN so they can leave the review before the technician leaves. Make it personal by asking them to mention the technician's name.

Script 3: Happy Call (Next Day)

The safety net. Catch issues before they become bad reviews, or gently remind satisfied customers.

"Hi Mrs. Jones, this is Sarah from [Company Name]. I'm just checking in—was everything 100% perfect with Mike's service yesterday? [WAIT FOR RESPONSE] [IF YES]: That's wonderful to hear! I sent you a text with a review link. Would you mind clicking that? It really helps Mike out personally, and it only takes 30 seconds. [IF NO]: I'm so glad I called. Tell me what happened, and I'll make sure we fix this for you right now. [RESOLVE ISSUE IMMEDIATELY]"

When to use: 24 hours after the appointment. This call serves two purposes: (1) Catch any issues before they turn into negative reviews, and (2) Gently remind happy customers who haven't left a review yet. Use this for ALL customers, regardless of whether they've already left a review.

Get Your Google Review Link

Follow these steps to create your direct Google Business Profile review link

Go to Google Business Profile

Search for your business name on Google, then click "Manage Business Profile" or go directly to business.google.com

Click "Ask for reviews"

In your Google Business Profile dashboard, look for the "Ask for reviews" button. It's usually in the main menu or under the "Get more reviews" section.

Copy the link

Google will generate a unique review link for your business. Click "Copy link" to copy it to your clipboard.

Save it to your phone notes

Save this link somewhere easily accessible—your phone notes, a shared document, or your CRM. Your technicians will need quick access to send it via text message.

Optional: Create a QR code

Use a free QR code generator (like qr-code-generator.com) to create a QR code from your review link. Print it on invoices, business cards, or truck decals for easy scanning.

⚠️Important Compliance Note

Never use review gating. Do not filter customers by asking "Are you happy?" before deciding whether to send the review link. Send the review link to ALL customers, regardless of their satisfaction level. This is a Google policy requirement and ensures authentic, unbiased reviews.
