Three proven scripts to systematically generate 5-star reviews. Click the copy button to use them immediately.
Plant the seed early. Set the expectation that 5-star service is the standard.
When to use: During the booking call, after confirming the appointment time. This primes the customer to expect excellent service and prepares them for the review request.
Close the loop. Ask for confirmation of satisfaction, then make the review request personal.
When to use: Immediately after completing the job, while still on-site. The key is to send the review link via text RIGHT THEN so they can leave the review before the technician leaves. Make it personal by asking them to mention the technician's name.
The safety net. Catch issues before they become bad reviews, or gently remind satisfied customers.
When to use: 24 hours after the appointment. This call serves two purposes: (1) Catch any issues before they turn into negative reviews, and (2) Gently remind happy customers who haven't left a review yet. Use this for ALL customers, regardless of whether they've already left a review.

Build a follow-up call script that catches issues and requests reviews

Follow these steps to create your direct Google Business Profile review link
Search for your business name on Google, then click "Manage Business Profile" or go directly to business.google.com
In your Google Business Profile dashboard, look for the "Ask for reviews" button. It's usually in the main menu or under the "Get more reviews" section.
Google will generate a unique review link for your business. Click "Copy link" to copy it to your clipboard.
Save this link somewhere easily accessible—your phone notes, a shared document, or your CRM. Your technicians will need quick access to send it via text message.
Use a free QR code generator (like qr-code-generator.com) to create a QR code from your review link. Print it on invoices, business cards, or truck decals for easy scanning.
Never use review gating. Do not filter customers by asking "Are you happy?" before deciding whether to send the review link. Send the review link to ALL customers, regardless of their satisfaction level. This is a Google policy requirement and ensures authentic, unbiased reviews.
