A repeatable study, not a one-off prompt

The default pilot studies one trade in one metro using 12 commercial questions across ChatGPT Search, Google AI Mode, and Perplexity. Each question is repeated five times in fresh sessions on each platform.

That creates 36 question-platform cells and 180 coded observations before control questions. The platforms are reported separately because there is no universal AI search rank. The question-platform cell is the main analysis unit. Repeat runs measure stability and are not treated as statistically independent trials.

Current status

The pilot starts only after the market and provider rules are frozen

Sequoia will name the pilot trade and metro after demand, relationship conflicts, provider inclusion rules, and platform reproducibility are checked. Discovery prompts are archived and excluded from the published result.

No. The pilot's provider universe must be selected through an objective rule before results are observed. Requesting a baseline review does not add or remove a company from the research sample.
